Behind the lens

I have loved photography since I was a boy, when my parents gave me an old Kodak Instamatic. My mother was what I call a 'family historian,' and I cannot remember a time when she did not have a camera in her hands. This speaks to her selflessness, her care and desire to create photo memories for the rest of us.

Now, with two beautiful and restless children, I find myself filling in the role of 'family historian.' I think my mother would be proud!
